Working in the Hofmann Laboratory supported by the California Alliance for Minority Participation program at UC Santa Barbara, I analyzed images of Strawberry anemones for PhD student Amelia Ritger. The project titled 'Intraspecific responses of Corynactis californica to realistic, simulated marine heatwaves during a long-term experiment' required ImageJ analysis of thousands of anemones body sizes to analyze how marine heatwaves may affect reproduction rates and size across different genetic groups of strawberry anemones.
